Thanks for including Certwatch in Mandriva. It's good to know ahead of time if an SSL certificate is going to expire. However I ran this command as the warning suggested # /usr/lib/ssl/apache-mod_ssl/gentestcrt.sh and I still continue to receive daily warnings. I'm running Mandriva 2006.0 which still has about half of the patches applied. -Joe Baker -------- Original Message -------- Subject: The certificate for localhost.ef5207 will expire in 23 days Date: Fri, 5 Jan 2007 04:02:01 -0600 (CST) From: root-Sfz2QT6i5RWyP/[email protected] (root) To: [email protected] ######################## SSL Certificate Warning ######################## The certificate for host localhost.ef5207 in the file: /etc/ssl/apache/server.crt generated the following warning: The certificate needs to be renewed; this can be done using the '/usr/bin/openssl' or the '/usr/lib/ssl/apache-mod_ssl/gentestcrt.sh' programs supplied with Mandrakelinux.
