BTW, I've finished this OpenLDAP stuff ... we build as modules but ship all the modules together with openldap-servers. In addition, I've included smbk5passwd (but, only with samba support at present), and patched it so it works (samba-3.0.11 didn't like the lowercase alpha characters in the hashes it created without the patch although apparently this should be fixed in later versions of samba anyway).
