Yes, the MDK version of Kolab supports all groupware functions, and
works as a Samba/LDAP PDC.

Right now, I'm deploying the solution in a school board that has 25,000
users split over 50 schools in a wide geographical area. They use
Windows workstations, but also X terminals.

Our company has also created a 134-page paper that fully describes and
documents a 100% open-source based infrastructure. The document is in
french for the moment, but I'll translate it whenever I have the time.
It's available at:

The base schema went upstream, but all the PDC functions did not,
because the development schedule is not the same.

- For the Kolab main developers, the focus is on Microsoft Outlook ;-)
- For me, the focus is PDC

Once Kolab 2.0 is out, I'll merge back all my changes.
