Thanks for the reply. I'm now unable to get mondo to create an archive in interactive mode since I formatted/reinstalled CentOS. Not sure what I did differently this time. Running in interactive mode, it asks for the location of my boot device (log attached). I tried the following, but each time mondo reports unidentified bootloader: /dev/mapper/centos-root (this is what mondo suggests) /dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 I went ahead and tried specifying the boot loader (GRUB): mondoarchive -O -V -i -s 4480m -d /home/gibbsjj/mondo -I / -E /home/gibbsjj/mondo -T /tmp -9 -l GRUB This resulted in a failure of mindi - ran out of space it looks like. I've also attached that log. This is the WARNING that I don't like: INFO: Found grub2 boot type INFO: Making Boot RAM Disk (219044 KB) INFO: Creating ext2 filesystem on /tmp/mondo.tmp.BrsaIK/temp.rd INFO: Copying Mindi files onto /tmp/mondo.tmp.BrsaIK/mountpoint.3756 WARNING: Problem in udev.lis analysis So I edited mindi and set EXTRA_SPACE = 300000. This solved the problem with mindi, and I was able to generate an archive. Log attached for that as well. Mindi still reports 'Problem in udev.lis analysis'. Not sure if that is a problem or not. I'm about to burn the .ISO to a DVD and try a 'compare' and then nuke restore. Will post results in a bit.
