Mondorescue Centos 7.4 with Uefi

I am not sure do it here in the right way.

If it isn't, please give me a hint.



I used Mondorescue since years, but mostly on older hardware.


On a new project, I used a standart PC, with is setup to Uefi boot.

I installed Centos 7.4 and add the repostity for mondorecue to install:


Mondo Archive v3.2.2-r3685

mindi Linux mini-distro generator v3.0.2-r3685

Mindi-BusyBox v1.21.1-r3685



I had to increase the memory in the mindi configuration file and so on, but afterwarts, mondoarchive runs   an create a Iso Image.

I burned it with growisofs, fine too.



So I try to test it on a different PC, with is still the same hardware.


After boot, I choose "nuke"


The first issue seems, that mondorestore isnt able to restore a  ext4 filessystem


So I delete this partion from the past-Table  ( Only data, with I can restore later )


so mondorestore runs to the end, but I'm not able to boot.

It seems that  the ""OLD" ( other PC)   UUID where restored in /etc/fstab.


I tried to fix it by hand ( emergency boot from tzhe installation disk), with no success.



So my question:

Is mondo able to restore  a backup to a new PC using Uefi Boot on Centos ? Or is it better to change to leagacy Mode ?
