I've created this: http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/843 > ----------------------------------- > INFO: Found ldlinux.c32 at /usr/lib/syslinux/modules/bios/ldlinux.c32 > INFO: Found syslinux.efi at /usr/lib/SYSLINUX.EFI/efi64/syslinux.efi Ok, so you're on UEFI with debian, and that's a combination that I know is not working and that I haven't had time at all to diagnose and debug up to now. http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/802 http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/797 http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/789 + some other issues I should fix: http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/803 >Some hint? Thanks. Well,I'm slowly coming back to work on my projects. I've started this week to make some patches to project-builder.org to improve git support, but I've not yet started to work back on mondo, beside reading that ML. (If you're interested it's because of https://brunocornec.wordpress.com/2018/06/25/on-the-right-path/) All that means MondoRescue has not had a new official version since Apr. 2016, which is a shame of course :-( Before my health issue I had some problems with media not booting (many distros) so I didn't want topublish like that, and then it has been delayed nearly an additional year due to that. I'm stopping making promises. I'm leading an Open Source event end of January (http://www.flosscon.org), willbe at Fosdem afterwards and again in hte US for a businees trip of 2 weeks. So I should start to concretely work on MondoRescue again mid february. Of cuorse, If you want to help, and can read the code, feel free to provide patches, thatcould help reduce thetime it will take, but what I will for sure do is publish a new version for the birthday of 3.2.2 in April at least. Back to your question, I need to look at which boot loader is used on Debian , compared to the other already supported UEFI based distros such as CentOS/RHEL. And solve the non-bootable aspect of themedia generated in 3.3.0 (that base has had many fixes since apr. 2016, so it's worth starting fomr that). I'm sorry for all of that and stuff will have to improve soon this year (in all aspects ;-) Best regards, Bruno. -- HPE WW FLOSS Technology Strategist http://www.hpe.com/engage/opensource Open Source Profession, WW Linux Community Lead http://github.com/bcornec FLOSS projects: http://mondorescue.org http://project-builder.org Musique ancienne? http://www.musique-ancienne.org http://www.medieval.org
