Seems similar to that BR: http://trac.mondorescue.org/ticket/817

- Does the workaround mentionned there works for you as well ?
- What happens if you type interactive or expert at boot prompt ?
- What version of syslinux are you using on the original system ?

If it's the same, then add you log to that BR plaese.
