Okay..... more details...... Logs available at http:// 140.190.50.94/mondo-3.0.3-logs.tgz 1) I currently don't have name resolution, even with force including '/lib*/libnss*' in /etc/mindi/deplist.d/lol_EL6.conf 2) /usr/sbin/mondorestore isn't available (/etc/mindi/deplist.d/lol_mondo.conf.) 3) Reboot behavior seems to be rather different under this version, it's not responding gracefully to a Ctrl-Alt-Delete, it does respond to exit/EOF. 4) /etc/mindi/mindi.conf, EXTRA_SPACE=700000. ISO size is set to 1gb. The name resolution issue came in some time after Mondo 3.0.3-1. I've been running that for a long time simply due to it using IP addressing instead of symbolic names. Versions after that store the NFS server name, and rather obviously if name resolution is failing, at a minimum I'd need to manually change fields at run time, or update /tmp/mondorestore.cfg. Can you provide logs somehow please ? Aren't you booting from the mindi image by any chance ? I don't see that with my current SLES tests (and that shouldn't be distro dependent. In particular I've made successful tests with RHEL 8 last week (and RHEL 7 the week before). Will try to reproduce. Wrt name resolution, what is the content of your resolv.conf file ? I don't think mindi creates one (and I'm not finding code doing that) so I'm unsure whether it ever worked in fact. For sure, on my side, I test with IP addresses (espcially as I do most of the tests using QEMU/KVM on my machine, so using the 10.0.2.2 address most of the time). Bruno.
