init'ing after boot

Has anybody found a good way to "reinit" so to speak with the 0.5-pre
series?  I can init 1 then init 2 and have everything restart but I
haven't found a way to just restart init 2.  Has anybody found a way to
do this, or a better solution?

This is a custom mainmod, btw.
