problem in finding dependency file in morphixCombinedLightGUI-0.4-1b: modules.dep

Hi,

I tried to install MorphixCombined LightGUI-0.4-1b.
The system unloads vmlinuz and miniroot.gz and
eventually it says:
modprobe:can't open dependencies file
/lib/modules/2.4.21-ck1/modules.dep(No such file or
directory)

when actually there is the file modules.dep! how to
proceed. can anyone help me, pls
