Problems with configuring wvdial

Hello,

I have problems with integrating wvdial in a Morphix derivate.
During the build, this message appears:

| WvDial includes a program called wvdialconf, which can automatically
| detect your modem and create a /etc/wvdial.conf file.

| Do you want to configure wvdial now? [Y/n] Exec: /usr/sbin/chroot /mnt/morphix-build/modbuild-tmp
| /usr/bin/apt-get  -y --force-yes install xbase-clients

|  wvdial

Unfortunately it appears very often again - each time some package
is configured.

Is there a clever trick to configure wvdial right away?
(The tricks I imagine appear not so clever, e.g. add a <command>
and explicitly configure wvdial)

Any hints appreciated.
