I'd assume there are difficulties debootstrapping sid from within etch,
as the packages required to debootstrap in sid tend to change every so
often.

Alex, the simplest way to figure out what is going wrong with the
sid-debootstrap this is to run:

`/usr/bin/cdebootstrap sid /tmp/libmorphix-something
ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian`

from within the VM. Upgrading to sid or using the etch suite in your
lightgui template should solve this.

cheers,

Alex
