I have bumped into that, i thought it was maybe some my bad setup.
Try downgrading your morphing tools (I'll try to see if I have any
notes from back then).  Iso was definitely not done well, but
everything else was good, as I recall.  I was able to get a good iso
by taking the trees from /tmp and buidling the iso by hand.
