You could try replacing the repositories with the latest Debian versions:

http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/debian-faq/ch-uptodate.en.html#s-aptitude-upgrade

Just make sure you backup your system, I haven't done such an upgrade
from 0.5-pre4 before.
