Alex, you had suggested that I should downgrade the package, and I just wanted to let you know I figured it out. Also I wanted to document how to do this for anyone else who might not already know. As I'm sure anyone who knows "apt" well, already knows this, but I found it very helpful and hopefully other people will as well. I put this in my /etc/apt/preferences. The 1000 specifies that it will downgrade to the version and package you specify. Package: xlibs Pin: version 4.2.1-12.1 Pin-Priority: 1000 Aaron- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
