Michiel, Thanks for telling me about this functionality, didn't know you
could do search for packages based on which files they contained, it's
totally helpfull!

I installed those packages, and it did give me the files I needed, I got
a little further on compiling.  So thanks.

While I did get further compiling, it needs another file, which I went
and searched for which packages had this extra file, turns out the only
one that has the right one is xlibs-dev, so I'll have to install that
package anyway.

Alex, this surely isn't the proper mailing list to be getting advice on
how to downgrade your debian packages, but if you could send me in the
right direction, that'd be awesome.
