Yes, please use kernel patch ebtables-brnf-2_vs_2.4.21.diff with ebtables 
userspace v2.0.5. Backwards compatibility with earlier kernel patches is less 
important (for me) than adding new functionality.

I'm looking forward to see them. I don't know the code of course, but it might 
be that this arp-replyer code would be better suited as an arptables 
extension. Check out the CVS for arptables and a very recent kernel 
(net/ipv4/netfilter/arpt*) to make sure what you're doing isn't already 
available. The arptables mangle target lets you alter the arp payload. The 
arptables userspace tool is available at the ebtables sourceforge page.
Please make any new ebtables code starting from the most recent kernel patch, 
or even better, start from the latest 2.6.x kernel.
