After upgrading to FC4 my Transparent bridge to Squid was broken. Troubleshooting revealed that packets redirected to the local squid machine through iptables were getting lost. I filed a bugzilla report, and found that the kernel maintainers had made a change that broke connection tracking for bridged packets. A patch is available for those encountering this problem, and the kernel will hopefully be fixed soon.
