Ignacio,

You will find that none of the current JVM's, Sun's, IBM's or BEA's work
with NGPT All of them make use of non-standard calls in Linuxthreads
that make direct use of NGPT impossible, they also rely on many work
around to bugs in Linuxthreads.

IBM is working on NGPT support for their JVM and the Jrockit folks have
responded to my queries stating they too are working on NGPT support for
an upcoming version. I don't know if Jrockits purchase by BEA will
change those plans or not, I hope not.

E-mail's I received from SUN on query about NGPT support have stated
that IA64 is priority now and that currently there is no NGPT support in
the works.
