Hi David,
   sorry for the confusion. The status is as follows.
   when i insert the card in my hardware, i get the error socket timed 
out in /var/log/messages. cardctl status shows [busy] and when i do 
cardctl ident. it hnags the system untill i remove the card. I am 
attaching the output of dump_cis with this mail.
