Greetings! I have been trying to get the Cardbus interface on the Compaq Presario 2100US working for some time now with little success. This unit has an O2Micro OZ6912 Cardbus controller. I have tried 2.4.21, 2.5.70, as well as cs-3.2.4 and the best I've been able to manage is to get a PCMCIA (not Cardbus) card to be recognized. I suspect the PCI routing as an issue, but I've not been able to resolve the issue using the config_opts entries. I've also tried both the Yenta and the i82365 modes. So, I'm open for suggestions as to where else to look to resolve this issue (short of chucking them and buying another laptop as our IT guys got a deal on them and I've got 35 of these beasts). As one might suspect, the Cardbus interface works well under Windoze. TIA, Mike -- Mike Anderson <[email protected]> The PTR Group, Inc.
