Re: lock ups on compaq 2100

I completely removed the pcmcia-cs rpm that comes with
rh9, so it removed /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia

i installed 3.2.4 source again, and
/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart works fine.(no
complaint about yenta)

as soon as i plug my wpc11 card in, it beeps, light
goes on, then lock up.

i had fixed this before i reformatted my linux
partition, but apparently i don't remember how.
help?
