system hangs after "cardctl eject"

Hi there, inserting and using a "Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE Adapter" works fine on my system. But when I do a "cardctl eject" the system hangs after printing these lines ~ # cardctl eject cardmgr[43]: executing: './network check eth1' cardmgr[43]: shutting down socket 0 cardmgr[43]: executing: './network stop eth1' cardmgr[43]: + /sbin/ifconfig eth1 down When I actually pull the card out I get cardmgr[43]: shutting down socket 0 and the system is working again...!? Any ideas? PS: Until now this only happens with this WaveLAN card. Other cards are fine!
