Hi, This is probably veering a little OT for a kernel related mailing list but seeing as we are all(?) working in the cross-compile territory I thought I would ask. At the moment my system is built from a series of shell scripts that mostly throw arcane configure options, fake config.cache entries and occasionally patch stuff so it builds in a multi-arch, cross compiling environment. Its obviously not going to be tremendously scalable in the long run so I'm looking about for build environments that have embedded systems in mind. Two that I've found so far are: OpenEmbedded - a offshoot of OpenZarus, http://www.openembedded.org/ ScratchBox - http://www.scratchbox.org/ I haven't delved into either in much detail. So my question is how do other people on the list build their systems? Is everyone else using custom scripts or is there a nirvana of cross-compiling goodness that I'm missing ;-) -- Alex, Kernel Hacker: http://www.bennee.com/~alex/ Make sure your code does nothing gracefully. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
