Please post as a new subject instead of replying to an existing thread,
this screws up threading in most decent MUAs that support it.

The process has changed quite a bit since then. Your best bet, and the one
most commonly referenced on this mailing list is to use Dan Kegel's crosstool.
You can find it at http://www.kegel.com/crosstool.

I suppose this should probably be added to the site somewhere so that this
issue doesn't repeatedly come up every couple of weeks.
