I am running Gentoo on my xbox by way of Chris Bainbridge's ebuilds, but
linux doesnt want to take over usb from cromwell. My usb devices only
have power if they were initialized by cromwell, but are still not
recognized in linux.
I ran through my kernel log and found this for usb startup:

Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: registered new driver hub
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox PCI: Setting latency timer of device 00:02.0 to 64
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xc5e7b000, IRQ 1
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: usb-00:02.0, nVidia Corporation
nForce USB Controller
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: request interrupt 1 failed
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: USB bus 1 deregistered
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox Trying to vfree() nonexistent vm area (c5e7b000)
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox PCI: Setting latency timer of device 00:03.0 to 64
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xc5e7b000, IRQ 9
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: usb-00:03.0, nVidia Corporation
nForce USB Controller (#2)
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox host/usb-ohci.c: USB HC TakeOver failed!
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox Trying to vfree() nonexistent vm area (c5e7b000)
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: registered new driver hiddev
Jun 11 23:36:35 xbox usb.c: registered new driver hid

"request interrupt 1 failed" - I'm guessing this in an IRQ problem, but
i have no idea what to do. Is this a problem with cromwell, the
xbox-kernel patches, or the ohci driver?

The ebuilds i tried were xbox-sources-2.4.26-r1 and -r2

If there is a better place or person to ask please direct me their.

Thanks
Nate Boom
