Rob,

good point of a refurb... but new ones are soo cheap today, I wish I can fix
it.

The bin was OK (256k) and I use it on a soft-mod.

Is cromwell ready-to-go and does not need "signing" with RC4?
I.e. can I get the .bin which is used in the bootable cromwell CD (which
works) and flash it on the tsop with raincoat 0.7?

I will have to get a solderless modchip... I guess.

Thank you,
