Hi,

I want to build myself a very stripped down linux "distribution" and am
now seeking some info.

Afaik I need

.) kernel patches (available for 2.6.x ?)

.) an xfree driver
    (or is a patch necessary?)
Afair there should be an xorg driver available too?

.) lirc
Do I need a patched lirc or just a new driver module in the kernel to
get the xbox ir module to work?

.) xbe loader
I should be able to use the default xbe loader with an initrd or is
    there anything special about this?

Is there anything else besides this that needs customisation for the
xbox (binutils, gcc, glibc) or is the rest the same as for "standard" x86?

Has anyone ever tried to build a xbox system on the xbox itself (I'm
afraid of the compile times, i need glibc and xfree, and some small things).

kind regards Philip
