Uhh, not sure about normal analogue output - I don't use it.

I can comfirm that the gentoo ~x86 version (I think this is v1.0.7),
outputs digitally via the s/pdif.

PCM and DTS are working for me.

AC3 works as long as your AV Amp isn't too picky about non-audio bits
being set correctly (mine is).
