Yeah, I think this makes sense. Why just C? If we can sort out the F/G handling in Cromwell, we might as well try C, E, F, G. The only problem we're going into is the 'boot priority' of multiple devices. It's a bit flaky right now. It prefers native over fatx, and fatx over CDROM. But the last bootable partition of each is marked as default. So, if you had a linuxboot.cfg on C AND one on E and F, which one gets marked as default? Presently, it is the order in which they are parsed. (Which is only E at the moment, so doesnt really arise). Needs a bit of thought to get right. > How is the multiple boot option in linuxboot.cfg handled ? Another text > menu ? Didn't have the time to try that yet. Yep. After you select the icon menu, it either: displays a text menu with the default entry highlighted or boots straightaway, if only one entry is in the linuxboot.cfg file. > Thanks for the work especially the more than 4 icons and the text menu. You're welcome. On a side note, I don't believe you ever sent me the xbeboot reliability fixes you had, I think. More people are having problems with it, so if you do have anything on this, it'd be greatly appreciated.
