I made the modification(just a few lines without impacting any existing logic) though I am not sure if it is desirable as a standard way. The reason is that with this, I can keep the kernel/initrd at C: rather that E:, this makes cloning and upgrading a sofmod cleaner(copying 500M at most rather than 8G). How is the multiple boot option in linuxboot.cfg handled ? Another text menu ? Didn't have the time to try that yet. Thanks for the work especially the more than 4 icons and the text menu. regards, gary "David Pye" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected]... > Hi guys, > > A lot of work has been put in to the Cromwell bios/Xromwell XBE for the next > release, which is likely to be numbered 2.4 - presently called 2.33-dev. > > I would like to get as much feedback/user testing as possible before releasing > it, however. > > It incorporates a number of new features, (likely to translate into a number > of new bugs), such as: > > 1.
