OK, how about using 800 x 600 resolution, and only using 640 x 480 of 
it? Can this be set up by capturing registers as described below? If 
so, any idea if any games use 800x600?

Can I do this, as a softmod will not work with my xbox? Do you still 
have this utility, and any guide to hacking the kernel not to init the 
chip?
