Hello,

I have the following problem. As of last week I started using 2.6.0
on all my machines. This was version test6 and I do have any major
problems with it. Even on my laptop everything works.

Now i've upgraded to test7 and see the following occur on my laptop.
The soundcard is working (ie. alsamixer just works) but I only hear
some garbled up noise not music. Rebooting the laptop with "acpi=off"
fixes this.

With test6 I did not have to do this. Is this a known problem?

Some information:
laptop: toshiba
soundcard module: snd_es1968
test6: works
test7: works only with acpi=off

    grtz Miek
