[Printing-user-general] Getting new printer models listed

Hi Folks,

Today I was contacted by a sales rep. from Xerox, here in the Netherlands. He 
mainly wants to sell me stuff, or course, but I took the opportunity to 
mention to him that most of the current Xerox Phaser models (B&W and color 
laser printer) are not mentioned in the supported printers list. Yet Xerox 
claims that their printers are supported by Linux. I tried even one of their 
PPD files in CUPS a while back (without the printer), and it seemed okay.

However, my question is: Where should I tell these people to go, who should 
they contact and what should they do in order to get their printers added to 
the supported models list on this site?
