How did you get it to work? 

This printer supports both PCL-6 and GDI drivers.

I used the GNOME Print Manager under Redhat 9 for
configuration.

GDI Driver
----------
I installed the GDI driver by choosing printer Lexmark E210 which
only has the gdi driver. This driver however only supports 600 dpi.

PCL 6 Driver
------------
I installed this driver by choosing printer HP LaserJet 1200 with
driver lj5gray. This also allows 1200 dpi printing.

I recommend using the GDI Driver since it is MUCH faster. Also, I
was disappointed that printing at 1200 dpi had almost no visible
improvement over 600 dpi.
