Hello, I have just released a new test version of libinklevel. Due to the great variety of printers available I need your help testing it. Libinklevel is a library for retrieving the ink level of a printer connected to a linux computer via parallel port or USB. HP, Epson and Canon printers are supported. What has changed? The Epson code has been rewritten to support more recent printers and to get rid of a bug which caused blocking of libinklevel when one ink cartridge was completely empty. Support for the Canon MP360 has been added. An alternate USB printer device file location has been added. The new release can be found here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/libinklevel/libinklevel-0.6.6rc4.tar.gz?download For testing it you need the ink command line utility. It can be found here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ink/ink-0.3.2rc2.tar.gz?download It will work only with this version of "ink". Please send me the complete debugging output from the "ink" program. libinklevel homepage: http://libinklevel.sf.net ink homepage: http://ink.sf.net Thanks, Markus -- Visit my homepage: http://home.arcor.de/markusheinz/
