CUPS 1.1.23 - Foomatic - HP LaserJet 4250 printing problem

Hi,

CUPS 1.1.23 is running on Solaris 8 using foomatic and HP_LaserJet_4250.ppd inh
the shared/cups/model directory.
Print is fine, but endless. I sent 1 test page, but had to cancel the printing
on the printer after it's printed out 10 pages (so it appeared that the
stop-job command -or whatever it is- was not sent??)

Is it CUPS, the PPD file, driver or the printer?

Any idea would be highly appreciated.
