RE: PXES on a Compaq T1000 or Wyse Winterm

Has anyone has any success with the compaq T series thin client? We want to
convert ours to Citrix clients and I'm wondering if we should go with the
supplied NT embedded or PXES.

I want to run PXES on a bunch of T1000, T1010 and Winterm 3315. Has anyone

The T1000 had a cousin called the T1500 which used an identical hardware
configuration but shipped (from Compaq) with a working Linux install and a
CD
that included software for the (Linux) server. I believe it is theoretically
possible to update the firmware from WinCE to the Compaq Linux Kernel which
I
think was SUSE based. But I don't have access to the Linux firmware from
Compaq (all links arrive at dead ends). So the alternative is to try and get
PXES onto them if it can be done.

If it works I want to run about 15 or 16 of them off a Debian app server at
my
son's school. This would give them a lot of computing for a minimal cost.

Any pointers or advice would be appreciated.
