RES: Windows only env + remote conf files

If you just want to "edit" the file use Wordpad instead of notepad. Wordpad
keeps the Unix format.

No, I've already suffer from this, and it's removed in the next PXES
release.
    
    The reason that I ask is that we are running a Win2k boot server that
also
    hosts the remote conf files.  If we edit the conf files with a windows
    editor (eg notepad) then it sticks in the dos LF/CR pair.  This then
    confuses the script when the (now dos formatted) file is transferred as
the
    variables pickup the unexpected CR character.
    
    This can all be solved by using the ascii transfer mode.  Diff output
below.
