I am trying to change the server the RDP client connects to via the remote configuration. The file P010212004239.conf looks like this: : #---------------------------------------------------------------------- # default.conf # This file is read when "Remote configuration" is enabled in the # ram disk image. # You can set variables here to alter the image's behaviour. # Example: # RDP_SERVER_NAME="my.server" # export RDP_SERVER_NAME #---------------------------------------------------------------------- RDP_SERVER_NAME=gvlscwts4.corporate.vox.net export RDP_SERVER_NAME Any ideas anyone? What am I missing here? -----Forwarded Message----- From: "Morin, Jon" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: RE: remote configuration Date: Wed, 14 Jan 2004 10:36:53 -0600 Getting this now.... 001: Finding modules dependencies... 002: Loading modules: 003: 004: Configuring and Starting Network... 005: Setting hostname to P010212004239 006: Setting CONFIGURATION_SERVER_NAME='10.212.1.55' (DHCP) 007: Getting remote configuration from 10.212.1.55:/pxes/config... 008: Sourcing default.conf 009: Sourcing P010212004239.conf 010: Parsing command line options... 011: Loading keyboard map (us) 012: Saving environment... 013: Parsing templates... 014: Configuring local devices... 015: sound 016: 017: Starting inetd It looks like it is loading the file but it isn't taking the command -----Original Message----- From: Chris Gianelloni [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 11:23 AM To: Jon Morin Subject: remote configuration Could you hit one of the machines via a web browser and look in the variables to see if REMOTE_CONFIGURATION_ENABLED is on? -- Chris Gianelloni Systems Administrator IT Infrastructure and Support Lead Conso International (864) 427-9004 x 2748
