Hello I seem to be having problems locating harddrives on my thin clients. I've been using thin clients installed on harddrives to go easy on the WAN links. One thin client needs to be updated with a new image, and I telnet'ed in and tried to mount his HD. With devfs I cant seem to find the harddrive in /dev To me it looks like no drives are being discovered at all. I'm still a bit new to devfs tho. Here's a ls from /dev : console misc ptyp1 ptyp9 tty1 tty9 ttyp5 vcc cua null ptyp2 random tty2 ttyS0 ttyp6 zero fb port ptyp3 rd tty3 ttyS1 ttyp7 full psaux ptyp4 root tty4 ttyp0 ttyp8 initrd ptmx ptyp5 shm tty5 ttyp1 ttyp9 input pts ptyp6 tts tty6 ttyp2 urandom kmem pty ptyp7 tty tty7 ttyp3 usb mem ptyp0 ptyp8 tty0 tty8 ttyp4 vc Can anyone tell me where I find my harddrives ? :) Regards, Einar Eliassen -_____________________________________________ The contents of this e-mail are confidential to the person(s) or organisation(s) to whom it is addressed.
