I have managed to change the application registry so that openoffice and other apps can open from smb drives. One problem though..browsing to the doc instead of refering to it by its smb-path. Browsing using nautilus with starting point "smb://" leads me to a document on a share. Doubleclicking the document starts openoffice alright but opening fails since nautilus tries the path "/home/ola/smb://share/test.doc" instead of just "smb://share/test.doc". ideas anyone? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
