Forcing use of XFree86 4.3.0

xdpyinfo on server says:
XFree86: 4.3.0
But xdpyinfo on clients say they are using "3.3.6"
How do i force clients to use 4.3.0?
What i am really after is RENDER for font aliasing which is supposed
to work alright without config in 4.3.0. Isn't it?
