I get through the splash, and the boot screen - it's during the loading of
the squash file (about 25% of the way through) the system just resets itself
- like a cold boot - starts a ram check and everything...

What else could it be? Video driver problems? MS Windows works on these
units "out of the box"...

Any advice appreciated. Craig Falconer offered to built me an image to try
out - but obviously I'd need to tell him what to worry about - I gave him
the other info (processor, video etc.) - haven't heard from him since - I'm
still scrounging around for enough spare gear to build a Linux box for
building my own images...
