If you try to boot it on a system that has Pentium 4 or Athlon optimizations, it won't work. I will work with i586. I have several of these chips and have never had an issue with i586 optimized Linux distributions. You do not need a special C3 kernel. The benefits are not worth the trouble. There is something else going on that is causing your problems. -- Darrick Hartman DJH Solutions, LLC http://www.djhsolutions.com ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
