Wouldn't that require all the gui libs and other dependancies be included as
well?  I could see that easily doubling the size of the image which means
slower boot times and larger memory requirements for the clients.  Anyway,
if you start including client apps then this really isn't a thin client solution
anymore.  If you really want the client apps running locally then you might
be better off with a more traditional thick client but with the root
partition mounted via nfs.
