Try enabling CONFIG_RTAI_SCHED_LATENCY_SELFCALIBRATE , within "Scheduling options" Paolo. ________________________________________ From: Rtai [[email protected]] on behalf of Emmanuel Pacaud [[email protected]] Sent: Friday, December 11, 2015 3:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Rtai] Userspace testsuite issues Hi, I'm facing some troubles trying to install the latest rtai releases (4.1 and 5.0-test1). The base OS I'm using is RHEL 6, on which I'm installing a vanilla kernel patched with the latest patch available in rtai sources (linux 3.14.33 with rtai 4.1, and 3.18.22 with rtai-5.0-test1). Compilation and installation seems to work fine, I'm able to run the kernel testsuite, but when I try to run the userspace testsuite, it doesn't work as expected. For example, I I try to run the latency test, the output is: ./run * * * Type ^C to stop this application. * * ## RTAI latency calibration tool ## # period = 100000 (ns) # average time = 1 (s) # use the FPU # start the timer # timer_mode is oneshot RTAI Testsuite - USER latency (all data in nanoseconds) 2015/12/11 15:21:53 RTH| lat min| ovl min| lat avg| lat max| ovl max| overruns And after that, nothing happens. I can only stop the test by pressing Ctrl+C twice. Any idea about what goes wrong, or a suggestion on what I can do in order to debug this issue ? I'm attaching rtai and lunx configuration I'm using. By the way, I'm already successfully running rtai 3.8.1 + linux 2.6.32 on the same machine (I need to upgrade rtai in order to use a recent linux kernel which will give us a complete support of the machine devices). Thanks. Cheers, Emmanuel. _______________________________________________ Rtai mailing list [email protected] https://mail.rtai.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rtai
