Wooo! Thank you!

We of the LinuxCNC project have been building and shipping Debian
packages of RTAI for our software to run on for years, and I just
updated our packages. The packages maybe of wider interest, as they
provide a simple way to install RTAI without compiling and configuring
anything.

We have packages for the patched 3.16.7 kernel, and for the rtai modules
and userspace libraries. We provide packages for Debian Jessie on i386
(well, 686-pae) and amd64. Our debian archive is here:

deb http://linuxcnc.org jessie base

Install Debian Jessie (either 686-pae or amd64) using the debian.org
install media, add that line to your /etc/apt/sources.list, "apt-get
update", and "apt-get install" linux-image-3.16.0-9-rtai-686-pae or
linux-image-3.16.0-9-rtai-amd64, install rtai-modules-3.16.0-9, and reboot.

These debs are based on Vulcano, updated 2015 December 6, with kernel
math provided by newlib. I will monitor the Vulcano CVS and rebuild the
packages when new changes are commited.

Thanks again to everyone on the RTAI project for an awesome realtime
kernel, it is much appreciated.
