problem with 5.0-test1 on amd64

Hello, I'm running RTAI 5.0-test1 (Linux 3.16.7 with hal-linux-3.16.7-x86-5.patch) on Debian Jessie, on and amd64 virtual machine. This VM is used in the linuxcnc buildbot and runs our test suite, which means it loads the rtai kernel modules, loads some of our kernel modules, runs our tests, and unloads all the kernel modules, many times per day. Recently it had a problem and became nearly unresponsive.
