Dear Doug,
I tried doing your method of building Newlib locally but that itself is not
building. its giving following error
/usr/local/src/newlib/src/newlib/libc/include/_ansi.h:130:19: error:
missing binary operator before token "("
and
" Makefile:383: recipe for target 'argz_add.lo' failed
make[3]: *** [argz_add.lo] Error 1" "
and whole bunch of other stuff. in short something big is wrong..
Will have try different things to compile. but as an alternative I tried
installing default NewLib of ubuntu, which also didnt work.
By the way my installation configuration is as follows:
Ubuntu 14.10 32-bit
Kernel: 3.16.0
RTAI: 4.1
Hardware:
Processor: i3 quad-core
RAM: 4 GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte
Just in case if you require..
Rathin
